A subtle Christmas exhibition about the natural and artistic beauty and the common good of all of us for the contemplative Christmas season.

In the shadow of the natural beauty, the tender little plant of the common good that connects us all, which is existentially threatened worldwide, withers almost unnoticed by many. A dying species that relies on trust, appreciation, respect and love and recognizes that for sustainable survival, harmony between humanity and nature is needed.

With the 40th art feature Spiritual Watercolors, Alberta brings the delicate watercolors of Indian painter, draftsman and watercolorist Asit Poddar before the curtain. The cosmopolitan is one of those gifted storytellers who empathically weave all their acquired sensory impressions and experiences into their artistic creations. The continuous transition from past to present is reflected in many of his paintings and becomes a central, significant element. One can literally feel the silence he senses on the mountains and in the deep valleys.

With the 39th art feature Ensō curator Alberta refers to elements of Japanese calligraphy in Nessling's works. Exemplified by the Ensō (Japanese for circle), which has high symbolic power in Zen Buddhism and stands for enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe, and also emptiness. The symbolic of these calligraphic elements reflects many times the expression of the moment and is found in the Expressive Urban Contemporary Art of Salzburg artist Sabine Nessling, who thus develops a very special, unique aura.
