He was born in Salzburg in 1967.
After graduating from high school, he studied at the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg in Prof. Luis Murschetz's caricature class. Alongside his studies in sinology and art history in Vienna, he worked on nude drawings and oil paintings, calligraphy, happenings and graffiti. Rucker restored and gilded works for the province of Salzburg in St. Gilgen with Augustin Kloiber. This was followed by study and work stays in Bali, New York and Rome.
Born in Graz in 1953,
he worked as a general practitioner until 2014, but since 1990 he has also devoted himself to painting and participated in exhibitions.
His work as a doctor continues to influence the themes of his artistic work. Various types of people appear in his pictures, mostly exaggerated and in expressive design and painting technique. His preferred materials are acrylic and charcoal.
He received his artistic training at the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg in 1999 and 2001.
Theresa Octavia studied media design in Munich and worked for some of Munich's leading motion design agencies after graduating. Creatively underchallenged and in search of more fulfilling activities, she made the switch to artistic self-employment in 2014. Bohemian Gothic ART was created step by step in spring 2015 as part of her examination of her own concept of art and her renewed study of Goethe's Faust, whose timeless insight into a deeply ambivalent world of the soul strongly influenced the artist.
However, this quote does not apply to Matthias Kretschmer's work. You could perhaps even say that he has succeeded in "squaring the circle" in his artistic approach to his assemblages.
Valuable synthetic elements of our planet conquer

In September 2020, BURN-IN invites you to an atmospheric art journey with Aurora CID (Spain) and Cordelia Lehmann-Reinthaller (Austria). In the exhibition Waving Symphonies of Color, both artists play passionately with attractive shapes, strong colors and unusual materials. The special magic is created by the reduction to the essentials, a kind of ultimate sculptural extraction that transforms the exhibition space into a contemplative setting.
The painter and draftswoman Ellen Semen, who was born in Hamburg and has lived in Vienna for 20 years, surprises with pictures of longing for a world free of conflict. The superficially lovely painting takes you into an unadorned reality in which unexpected pictorial elements repeatedly enter the pictorial space. They challenge the viewer and put him to a hard test. The supposedly beautiful, and innocent is infiltrated by the surprising, the unpleasant. Harmlessness is mixed with horror.
The expressive painter and draftswoman Martina Hamrik from Tutzing (near Munich) became internationally known through her unique, patented loop paintings. This technique creates an enormous plasticity and a reduced abstract backdrop for the dynamic athletes, who thus come even more into focus. With indescribable coolness, Hamrik stages her protagonists and reveals their very personal obsessions and chooses sports that live from aesthetics and rhythm, from the choreographic and playful.
