Beyond the Limelight by Karim Rahoma. These are the moments that Karim Rahoma captures in his latest photo art exhibition UNSCRIPTED - Beyond the Limelight.

Ellen Semen

Ellen Semen was born in Hamburg in 1971. She studied painting at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart (1992-2001) with Prof. Peter Chevalier (1996-1999), at the Surikov Institute in Moscow (1998), at the École des Beaux-Arts in Marseille (1999) and art and intermedial design with Sotorius Michou in Stuttgart (1999-2001).

Flowers do not bleed

In June 2023, Vienna's BURN-IN Gallery invites art and literature lovers to the subtle exhibition Blumen bluten nicht. Here Ellen Semen's independent painting meets Kirstin Breitenfellner's stirring poems. This successful symbiosis of images and words creates a provocative atmosphere around the themes of war and mortality in the atypical art spaces.

The shadows inside

In May 2023, Vienna's BURN-IN Gallery invites you to the solo exhibition The Shadows Within with Osso, a painter from Syria who has lived in Vienna since 2008. The exhibition reflects the many facets of the artist. The shadows that lurk within are emblematic of the darker sides of life, which Osso addresses in his works. His paintings are a reckoning with the world and with himself. A world marked by pain, loss and alienation. A world that has forced the artist to flee his homeland and start anew in a foreign land.
