Bewusstes.Unbewusstes

The terms conscious and unconscious immediately make us think of Sigmund Freud's depth psychology, which assumes unconscious mental processes that rest in the "depths" of the human being and motivate human action. The approach of artists in their works is often about a way of working that is head-heavy on the one hand, and emotional on the other. Mostly conscious and unconscious in the creation of works of art are inseparable. A predominance of one or the other, however, exists in all artists.
