Crossing the boundaries of art
A digital presence with the character of a work of art - individually developed, bilingual and strategically designed to bring artistic identity and international visibility into an independent form.
For Ellen Semen, BURN-IN developed a digital presence with the character of a work of art that goes far beyond a classic artist website. The result is an individually designed corporate website in which artistic identity, strategic clarity and digital visibility come together in an independent form. The editorial system, digital archive, animations of the artworks, AI portraits of the artist and clear, professional user guidance are precisely intertwined. The bilingual implementation in German and English is supported by an integrated translation module synchronized with DeepL and creates a solid basis for an international presence.
The interplay of artistic understanding, strategic positioning and digital implementation was particularly important to us. The aim here was not just to show works online, but to make visible an artistic identity that consciously moves between classical painting and digital art. This hybrid power of the artist was also continued on the website: atmospherically, curatorially and technically designed in such a way that it can grow with the work.
A central part of the project was also the strategic work behind the visible surface. Work cycles were sharpened, further developed and condensed in their naming - for example with formats such as Hybryllis. The result is not just a website, but a digital system that supports artistic development, strengthens recognizability and provides collectors, curators and companies with more precise access. This is precisely the strength of BURN-IN: art, marketing, design and technology intertwine and become a presence that not only makes identity visible, but also thinks ahead.
"When art, strategy and design truly intertwine, a digital space with character, clarity and charisma is created."
